On January 16-17, 2016, the train and toy show was held at the Ohio Expo Center Lausche Building in Columbus.  the show is designed for kids as well as adults of all ages for fun and furthering the hobby.
The official website is HERE.

Impression:Walking in, you could see the love that everyone that attends has for the locomotive.  Off to the left, there were local clubs from all different scale sizes.  Our personal favorites were the "S" scale because you can really see the detail in the engines and cars.

The kids loved seeing all the displays in motion, trains with real smoke coming out of the stack and whistle noises.  The level of detail does not stop at the trains either, as just as much effort is put into the surrounding areas of the tracks.

Even if you are not into the hobby of building or collecting, if you like trains even a little bit, this is a great show to go to and see what is out there.  Lots of great, knowledgeable people who are willing to discuss trains with you, regardless of your current level of knowledge.

Next time the train show is in town, give it a whirl!!
