Background:

Per Wikipedia, Burlesque is a literary, dramatic or musical work intended to cause laughter by caricaturing the manner or spirit of serious works, or by ludicrous treatment of their subjects.^[1] The word derives from the Italian burlesco, which, in turn, is derived from the Italian burla – a joke, ridicule or mockery.

There were several burlesque performances at the 2016 Community Festival this year, this being just one of them.

Impression:

All the performances were top notch.  This show's talent was brought by Crimson Lace Cabaret.

It's really hard for me to put into words the performances.   If you like live theater, or comedy like Shadowbox, then this is right up there - only a little racier!!  The time went by very fast.  In my opinion, it is worth a trip to see their performances!!
