Background:

The Clintonville Farmers Market features everything from composting, fresh dairy, meats, herbs and produce to live music.

Held Saturday's on High Street right by the Donatos Pizza and Karen Wickliff Books.

Impression:

When most people think farmer's market, they invision having booth after booth of farm fresh produce.  That is true of this market as well, but along with the farm fresh products there is also live entertainment.   It usually switches up every week and on May 11, the Piano Peddler and a Conga Drummer lent their talents for all at the market area.

St. Patrick's Day Weekend North Market Style

Background:
St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland.  He arrived in Ireland in 432 AD to convert the Irish to Christianity.

Impression:
St. Patrick has a long and storied history, and you can read all about it on various sources on the internet.   Let's be honest though...you know that most people use it as an excuse to party.   It is an even bigger celebration when the actual St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday.

Short North and North Market regions of downtown Columbus started the festivities Friday, March 15 and will continue on through the weekend.

We were downtown on March 16 and the partying was in full swing.

People take the occasion to also dress in green and extravagant outfits.

Some even joined official "pub crawls" going from bar to bar with their friends.

Jungle Jim's International Market

   “Unbelievable”, “Wow!”, “awesome”, ---These are the words that others have uttered to me when I took them to Jungle Jim’s Grocery Store.     I know what you are thinking: “What could possibly be amazing about a grocery store?”   Well, this store is like no other you have seen, I can guarantee that.
